I have stayed there twice and would definitely do so again if I am able to return. The hospitality is superb, so personal and welcoming. Last I was there they had not completed renovations, but now the rooms look even more attractive and comfortable. I cannot recommend this B&B enough - I actually miss it and the wonderful owners.
Very welcoming and helpful owners, made me feel like I had known them for a long time. Location is central yet quiet, but handy to restaurants and old harbor, other places of interest. Good breakfasts, nice eating area. Very clean in all respects.

Centrally located, 10 minutes by foot to National Museum of Iceland. The staff is truly helpful and hospitable, and the host too. The breakfast choices are abundant and rich with strong coffee included and avocado, as for instance.

The breakfast spread was good, with homemade breads and a cozy atmosphere. The host really were great too ensure we felt at home while exploring the lively Reykjavik streets with my husband.
For dads, it would be great if the rooms had firmer mattresses.

The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the city-the heart of everything is just a stone's throw away. Enjoying the homemade breakfast spread piled high with delicious local ingredients made for a great start to the day.
The room design isn't for everyone. The elevated platform bed over what appeared to be an older bakery oven felt awkward, especially with those pesky steps. Tall folks might struggle with the shower curtain height, which can be a nuisance if you're over 6'1''. Street noise crept in.

Cozy atmosphere makes it easy to meet travelers.
The room was so small that it felt cramped. I constantly bumped my head on the low ceiling, quite uncomfortable. The shower had water that smelled like sulfur.

Had an amazing group trip with friends! We explored the fine Golden Circle and enjoyed the nightlife. The location is perfect and the breakfast had so many delicious choices. There's a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to meet fellow travelers. Just a reminder, the rooms are a bit small, but totally worth it for the experience.
The only downside was that the ceilings were quite low, a bit awkward at times.
